VersaBucket COVID-19 Update

Versabucket hopes everyone is staying healthy during these unprecedented times.

In order to comply with Harris County distancing measures, we have provided all employees with safety masks and hand sanitizer that they will keep with them and use while on jobs. We have informed all employees of the social distancing measures required by the county, and everyone is aware what is expected of them. Our number one goal is to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy!

One step at a time, we will get through this together!

Bucket Escorts for Palletized Trucking

Let it roll down the highway!

With business rolling along as usual, VersaBucket cleared a safe path from Dayton to Houston, TX for this 18’10” tall Reel being transported by Palletized to its destination.

The job went smoothly and the reel was delivered safely to its destination. Shout out Palletized for giving us a call for their high load escorting needs!

Bucket Escort for Supor

Among the many extraordinary and oversize loads we’ve escorted, it seems that #vessels are most commonly moved.

Supor contacted VersaBucket last month to help get a 17’3” tall vessel escorted from Franklin, LA to Yorktown, TX. We sent over 3 trucks to provide a clear path for this load.

Escorting Propane Tanks with Bay Ltd

At VersaBucket, employees understand that when escorting an oversized load, communication and teamwork are key!

During the end of February and into March, our crews safely escorted (5) loads of 22’6” tall propane tanks over a span of 6 days for Bay Ltd locally in Corpus Christi, TX.

VersaBucket provided (5) bucket trucks with crews and (1) boom truck for this project. Thanks to Bay Ltd. for relying on us to clear their way safely!

Leading the Industry with IMSA Technicians

VersaBucket, LLC believes in investing in our people.

This past month, we sent four employees to obtain or renew their IMSA traffic signal certifications. All four successfully completed the course and received their IMSA technician I and II certifications.

These certifications ensure that our personnel are trained in traffic signal control system troubleshooting, on-site repairs and maintenance methods. Upon completion of the course, they can promote safe, efficient signalized intersections on every job.

Round Two – Bucket Escorts for Barnhart Crane & Rigging

Ready for Round 2!

Last year in November, Barnhart had us send over some bucket trucks to help escort 2 control buildings. In the past couple of weeks, we helped them to complete Round 2 of this project.

For the second round of this project, Versabucket sent over 4 trucks moving from Houston to Nederland, TX on a 2-day journey. We helped guide these two 18’10” high control buildings safely under any obstacles on the way, including span wire traffic signals.

Versabucket’s crews are trained in properly lifting and handling span wire traffic signals according to TXDOT’s Beaumont District regulations. In some of these pictures, you can see our crews utilizing this training.

New Office Location

VersaBucket is very excited to share our new location at 15720 Garrett Road in Houston!

In the first quarter of 2019, we expanded our yard and moved to position ourselves in a more convenient location.

Our new location off of Sheldon Road between HWY 90 and BWY 8 gives us quick access to two major roadways in Houston.

Transporting a Module with Bay Ltd

Name that load: What was Bay Ltd hauling through Texas in January?

To start off 2020, Bay Ltd gave us a call to help get this module transported from Corpus Christi to Mont Belvieu, TX. VersaBucket sent over 3 escort trucks and crews to maneuver this piece through traffic signals and power lines on the 3 day journey.

The module was delivered by Bay Ltd safely and without incident. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to help!

Rain or Shine Vessel Transport

Come rain or shine, we will guide you through!

Even on dreary days, vessels need to be moved. This one was a 22’2” tall vessel hauled by @Deep South from Cypress to Mt Belvieu. With extra precaution because of the weather and a little help from 4 VersaBucket trucks and police escorts, Deep South got this vessel safely to its destination.

Transformer Transport with Supor Heavy Haul

At VersaBucket, we love working outside in the beautiful weather! Late November we had the opportunity to help Supor Heavy Haul transport a 20’3” transformer locally in Houston.

We sent 2 of our bucket trucks to clear the way and safely helped them reach their destination.
